Nyah... Month 3 in the S Family

Nyah continues to do amazingly well. She is still a very busy little girl! She is into EVERYTHING, far more than any of the other kids were. She also will often run away if she sees me with the camera. She would rather come grab it...

Here she is trying out the scooter. She just may ride a two-wheeler without training wheels by the summertime.

Her hair is getting longer and more wild by the minute. She can rip out a hair clip in no time. I can't imagine her staying still for a haircut though. I sometimes resort to putting frizz-tamer in her hair.

She still is very animated. She still loves to dance. She has also become very friendly with others but she doesn't stray for long without looking for me.

Nyah started off the month with improved kissing technique... she no longer open mouths it but puckers up by scrunching her whole face up like she is thinking, "This may be gross!" and then, now about 1/4th of the time, proceeds to wipe away any kiss she gets, slobbery or not. She also blows kisses which looks more like she is just patting her own pucker but it is cute. Mid-month she started kissing everybody goodbye instead of waving. No kissing pictures but here is a cute one of her in a dress... with pants and sneakers!

Gotta have the eating picture since that is still her favorite activity. She heads to the doctor in January and I am expecting a weight gain... in China I was pinning 6-9 month clothes on her and now she is 12 month clothes on the bottom (getting shorter and tighter by the minute) and 18 month size on the top.

She hasn't added new words at all except for her version of Uh-oh, which I don't think are really words anyway. She is LOVING all the holiday lights... so far we have had the same reaction at home, at Grandpa's and Grandma's, at Target, and at Sears. She squeals with delight, over and over, and quite loudly, as if our family doesn't get enough attention to begin with.

Nyah's foster sister JinJue (Ava) comes home to California this month. We are so excited for her new family!
