I crashed last night early... around 8:30 as soon as Nyah did so here are a few more pictures from yesterday. We had a few firsts... a few peeps, and that is exactly what they were, from Nyah when she was playing with the stacking cups (she played for about an hour and would peek at us occasionally - I think she needed to escape into something for a while), a few smiles, a few steps holding daddy's hand (she will not walk for/with me) and, without too much detail, let me just say that Doug and I had to debate over which one of us was going to clean out the smelly little kid potty. She whimpered a bit when I went into the bathroom to try to cool her bottle down last night so Doug brought her to me but no tears either. She likes watermelon but does not like bananas. And she LOVES Caleb (first smile goes to him) and she LOVES when Grandpa and Caleb or Doug and Caleb act silly together. She is still sleeping and while she is not noisy, we have heard more noises in the night than all day yesterday.
The shirt and pants she is wearing are size 6/9 months to give you an idea of her size. She is very thin and I think she needs some playtime with her siblings outside to add a little muscle.
You know there will be more later!! Thank you everybody for your well wishes and prayers.
Kate

Something about the biggest big brother that little girls love. Way to go, Caleb on getting that precious first smile! Hope you get a few more peeps out of her today and kudos on bringing the stacking cups! We LOVE all the pictures and updates!
Hey Doug and Kate,
Congratulations, she is so beautiful.
I know that at that one moment, when they hand her to you, it erases all the trouble and hurdles you had to go through to get to that point. Thanks for sharing this with us, it brings back a lot of memories but it also makes me want to hurry up and get Wyatt even more now. Enjoy your time with her, those first few days will be lasting memories.
Your daughter is precious! This is such an amazing time, thank you for sharing it with all of us. We will be praying for you and for that sweet baby of yours! She really is beautiful! I wish I could reach through the screen and give her a hug! I hope things go well as you travel and do all of your paperwork!
She is so tiny and so precious. She is doing much better than my Sophie. Thanks for the encouragement. I am ready for the party in GZ!
Doug and Kate, She is adorable. I know you are so excited to finally have her in your arms. God bless
Thanks for the update. I know we will see her laughing before long!
OH my gosh, she is a tiny little thing. Something about boys being silly makes all the girls smile, even the big ones. What wonderful memories! Love to you all!
